Guess I'm throwing myself out in the wild. I've seen some interesting videos on YouTube and wandered around checking out numismatic related. Some are historical based, some are personal reviews of their trips to mints, coin fairs, dealers and some might be just closeup of their coins and talk about it. A couple that Ive seen get pretty close and personal with coin dealers which is a good thing for the hobby. What are some of the better ones that you have seen? Feel free to share your videos if you've got something!
I cannot for the life of me figure out why none of our resident youtube haters have not commented on here yet!?
There’s a lot of poor coin videos on YouTube, but there are some good ones out there. High quality coin-related channels that I frequent are CoinWeek, CoinHELPu, and Liana Spurrier.
The onlynuTube inspiration you will find is listening to oldies but goodies. You know, songs from the fifties and sixties.
CoinHELPu~! I like Daniel, too. I like Charles Morgan's podcasts at coinweek and his related videos at YouTube.
TheCoinGeek is a dealer out of Pheonix who keeps his videos short and to the point. Most of his content is third-party grading and his results, but I think one can gleam some good information on grading and the state of the modern coin market from him. He puts out 2-4 videos a week, and they are always well under 10 minutes (typically between 4-8 minutes).
Same here. I was born old. As I put it I was born in the 60's and raised in the 30's. I like old movies and old time radio programs.
I'll throw one in that I thought is pretty cool - Australian coins. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGwQi-fdLHDA0e1wF0V7dFQ/videos Not bad to be honest. I like how the video makes viewing of coins easier rather than just photos in particular varieties like the wavy 20 cents. I couldn't quite tell by pictures alone.
