I wouldn't consider the Seated-Trade or Trade-Morgan dollar to be a type transition. The Trade dollar was almost a different denomination, meant for export, not considered to be an actual dollar domestically. "Parallel universe dollars," if you will. Seated and Morgan dollars were referred to as Standard Dollars.
I don't have any nice paired sets (finding a 1913 V-nick to go with that 1913 T1 Buff might be tuff!) But I do have some first-year and last-year types. First year of issue: Last year of issue: (Yeah, I know this is the US forum, but I snuck some 1901 Vickies in there. )
It was never intended to be an official mint issue. They were illegally made and spirited from the mint in secrecy. They should be confiscated like the 1933 double eagles
How about a 104 year old lady from Denver.... she's been around the block a few times....but she's got spunk....for an ole gal. All her text is readable ,smooth as a baby's bottom, and as grey as a battle ship. Little did she know that day she was ejected from the press.....that after 104 years of service she still has everything she needs to be worth 100 x times her face value.
