It's just a binary note. Not true binary as that would only include 0's & 1's. It is two numbers exclusively though. So in that sense it's a binary note.

Worth keeping? Sure. It's only $5. Worth grading? Not in my opinion.

Yeah I added it to my little collection of "cash back" notes I have not touched in a couple years (it adds up!). I wasn't sure if it was among the "almost" fancy but not quite category. So far I've only found two stars throughout my search.

As previously stated by @masterswimmer it's a binary note. Some collector's like notes with 7's. They call them lucky sevens. Usually with three 7's in a row, so not sure if four in a row makes it undesirable to them. It's from the old casino slot machine days where three 7's in a row was a jackpot.

On planet eBay, it’s marketed as a Binary. I’m guessing that most members here might call it a spender. If you like it, keep it.

I saw this one on the bay the other day, a new listing, at a great price, looked at other stuff, came back a few minutes later, gone! Someone had already bought it :-(

I don't have a shot of the back. Maybe the one who snagged that beauty will come on here some time and post that pic :)

It’s one of the cleanest, nicest VF’s I’ve ever seen.

DM1, do you know what the hammer price was on this note? It's a beauty.

It was actually a BIN for $200, which seemed to me a great deal for a black eagle as nice as that one. Obviously I wasn't the only one that thought so :)

I know, I know, I seem obsessed with the 1935 experimental notes, but in my defense, I bid on quite a few of these, not expecting to get as many as I did, so here is yet another experimental R note, this one graded.

I see many of these sold in pairs, both the R & S together. Do you get them individually or in pairs @Mountain Man ?

    I bought these together...like a matched pair.

Separately in most cases. I bought one raw set (in poor condition) together. The pairs seem to be priced higher than the single ones.

Here’s what my 3rd submission yielded
over all very positive, most came back 66
which still means a premium, but there are
several series where that’s as good as it
gets so 1 or 2 in the top grades.
