Hi everyone, How is quarantine treating you? It’s been alright for me. I’m basically a hermit, so I’m ok with being inside. I’ve been having fun hanging out with my coins and discussing the awesomeness of ancients with my niece who has a few ancients thanks to some very generous CT fam members. I should have made this post last week, but, I made the mistake of asking my brother if I could borrow his animal crossing game, which he isn’t playing. Holy cow, it takes over everything. Anyway, getting to the point of this thread. Once again, I have received an awesome gift from the fam. @PlanoSteve participated in one of @lordmarcovan’s monthly contests and past on the gift to me. I was able to pick up this awesome Severus Alexander provincial from Caesarea. I noticed on the insert that it said ex @Theodosius. Our good friend Theodosius gave me some pretty sweet coins and a book on Greek coins a few years ago. Sorry, I’m on my phone and don’t know how to flip pictures and my book pic got deleted. Someday I’ll learn, I promise. Anyway, I love all of them. I even have a man faced bull! Thank you so much, PlanoSteve, lordmarcovan and Theodosius. I never cease to be mind blown by you all. Thank you for all you do! Erin
Nice coins @Johndakerftw . I'm glad you're ok there in Ontario. Here in Montreal, we've been hit very badly. It seems we are one of the worse city in North America. Everything was shut down for 2 1/2 month. Happily we have our friends on CT to cheer us up !
That is a great collection from some pretty highly pedigreed CT'ers More proof that the CT Ancients forum is top notch!
..very nice Erin! ..wow..a man headed bull?!?....too kool!...cudos to you & the kind and generous hearts here at CT! ...
Animal crossing is dangerous! My wife has a switch and a copy. I resisted getting a copy for myself until yesterday. Now we are playing together and having a blast
Would love to see your MFB! Hope you are doing well! The only Animal Crossing I have is Blue sleeping on my feet at night, or her being clumsy STEPPING on my feet all the time!
Thanks so much everyone, especially to Bing for cleaning up my mess! It fits into my biblical collection very well, coming from Caesarea which is mentioned in the Bible. Here it is, Alegandron: Campania, Neapolis 250-225 BC It’s one of my favourite Greek coins. @furryfrog02, if you ever want to visit my island, let me know. It’s a mess lol. Erin
