What is "gradeflation"

    To me grade inflation is when the dealer just sells the coin he told you was ExF-AU to somebody as MS .

    I did some searching & and found this http://www.caccoin.com/?cat=3 interview with the president of CAC, John Albanese. It's kind of a commercial for CAC, but there still some good info.

    It changed in the 6th edition of the ANA standards. Only 1 other grade change, for Lincolns, in a single grade, in the entire book.

    It still does for ANA standards.

    Gradeflation is a mechanism to ensure TPG (and crackout artist's) revenue.

    I got my copy Friday. (Bought mine at the ANA Bookstore.) I have only flipped through it so far but it looks like it has a LOT of great information and advice for the novice to the expert.
