Meow has just found another doubled die shield cent. It is a 2014d. It has a slightly different looking doubled ear. It is unlike the 2015d, 2018d, and 2019d double dies Meow found, as those have a small nub of doubling. This one is longer and follows the basic shape of the ear.

Amazing. Who routinely spots these sort of things? All of you coin error hounds like Meow, would make fantastic investigators . I would not. My wife, if she were into coins, would make for a great CEH ( Coin Error Hound ), as misses nothing. Especially when I was younger, I couldn't get away with jack. If I snuck a cigarette an hour or two earlier, she could detect it on me. If I told a little fib, she'd immediately call me out on it. If I had a drink or two with the boys, she could sniff it out in mere seconds. If I had a lone gray hair sprouting up on the back of my head, she spotted it. Makes a guy wonder if he maybe he should have opted to marry the dumb blonde instead? Anyway, my hat is off to all of you CEH's.

Hey CRHers. I wanted to give a shout out to @White Ger. Shep. Lover! This man is a true gentleman coin collector! After some fun banter back and forth about my finding a 1982-P “No FG”, which still put me a few behind him in that category (lol), we have embarked on a coin trade of epic proportions. He very graciously sent me a bunch of awesome IHCs I was needing for my Dansco album along with a plethora of other really cool coins in conditions that would be impossible to find nowadays via CRH. My work is cut out for me now to send him something he doesn’t have and will hopefully enjoy just as much! This is a really fun project we have underway. I am amazed at the truly wonderful people I have come to know on CT, and their willingness to help each other out. Here’s just a very small taste of what he sent me, incredible!

Thanks for the kind words, TexAg! Indeed, we two have started a flurry of trades that would have made that old St. Louis Cardinal GM, Frank "Trader" Lane, proud. Just a word to the wise.....TexAg is a very very shrewd businessman.

Coinstar finds at Stop N Shop today. Why don’t people check the reject tray? $1.57 in loose US coins, 4 foreigns including a Guyanese coin, and two 64-P silver Rosies! 41266877-CC3A-4380-A2E5-9102F818271F.jpeg

Also, I found these in the past week. Definitely the best condition 82-P “No FG”s I have found CRHing. One has just the slightest tips of the “F” and the “G” showing on one of them. Does this still qualify as a no FG? 944B0A78-5639-4001-A2CD-5CFF45D17D9A.jpeg 74DC24D8-C0EF-4B1A-ABCE-CD0A47E7D7FD.jpeg 7A887790-02AD-4E8D-997E-6CD984329233.jpeg E431F8C7-BEA9-49FD-8F48-79656BCAC24A.jpeg 05A325F6-873B-411F-BAB6-F578EF9F2F68.jpeg 7BF119E9-BFEB-48EB-960E-D4AA6659A2DA.jpeg

It’s possible, but I need a zoomed in focused shot of the FG area to tell for sure.

The 2nd quarter box from our road trip last weekend yielded another Lowell W & my first Bat P quarter. The Bat P will go in my Dansco next to the Bat D until I find a nicer one.

Went through a few boxes of pennies today. Found a handful of common date wheaties. But two regular ones caught my eye. Left one is more "rose" or "red" in color than a regular penny. Not sure if special. Right one has cool tone.

Out of $800 in quarters I got 5 American Samoa W Privy's. Plenty of D and P ones but only keeping W. Sorry for lighting and angle. Coins are shiny so hard to get photo

Found another Memorial Park W. Hmmm, Meow keeps finding that one. There must of been a lot of the issue distributed in Meow's area. It is a bit scratched, but still shiny. Also Meow found a nice P Acadia ATB. Meow recalls that it is the lowest mintage ATB. So Meow will add it to the Cat hoard too.

Is there a list of mintage per coin? Google only tells me 2 million per W mint and National Park of American Samoa Quarter D 212,200,000 P 249,200,000

From what Mint said Meow recalls two million for the Ws. So less than one percent of the P or Ds. Less than half percent of the issue overall. guess that is why they are not that easy to find. Especially if you cant obtain uncirculated rolls. Meow feels lucky to find any at all. Meow was not expecting to be able to find as many as Meow has. That one is #11. The average find rate has gone down recently for Meow. Meow would guess Meow has to hunt through about $700 in quarters to find one. Meow had hit a bit of a dry spell from a few months ago.

Search the ATB Wiki. It will show all available mintage numbers.

I went through $800 in quarters and found 5 Ws which isnt bad. I have ROLLS of "uncirculated" P and Ds if anyone's interested before I dump them off Monday. Also, what is ATB wiki? Google did not take me anywhere related to coins lol.
