Happy Friday folks! This is one of my all time favorite coins, in case my avatar didn't give it away :)

I've mentioned in two other threads about this recent regrade order. And as the order nears completion (images done, hoping grades post today; fingers crossed), I thought I'd share my last GTG.

Edit- fun fact: 1906 was the first Barber half struck at Denver.

You nailed it! I'm hoping it'll come back as "Awesome+" though ;)

My first thought was 65, due to the luster. But then I enlarged the photos, and saw the scruffiness on the cheek. Probably a 63 based on that, but way better than most in that grade.

This coin was originally graded PCGS MS61. After the regrade, this coin came back... MS61. I was a bit surprised to be honest. Of the 3x coins I sent for regrade, I had the highest hopes for this one and it's the only 1 of 3 which didn't upgrade... oh well :p

Still beautiful; still one of my all time favorites; still undergraded :D

That is a bit surprising as I thought this one looked nicer than the 62 which upgraded to 63. It seems like the area above the eye and the cheek are somewhat rougher than we all thought (and might explain the grade).

This. Plus, if you look at the stars on the obverse, some aren't struck as strongly as others and almost appear worn a bit -- likely, result from older dies. Nonetheless, I think this too would negatively impact the grade.

ALSO, being one of my favorite coins, I've stared at it for countless hours with and without magnification. But it wasn't until the TrueView images posted that I noticed the die break on the reverse - SOOO cool!
