Here is what my mailperson brought me today. Opinions please. Lint and scratches are on the slab, not the coin.
I'll say VF-20, maybe VF-25ish? Tough for me tell, but it looks like a very nice example. :thumb: Phoenix
Very nice 14-d RLM. I like the color. VF-20 minimum IMHO, but could go higher as the photo may be obscuring some details. You say the coin is scratched though?
For some reason, my pics made the obv. look sharper than it really is. Not that the detail isn't there, but it is hard to pick out because the head is pretty mushy IMHO. The rev. could easily go VF, but not the obv. All in all, I think PCI is at least real close on their grading.
darn nice coin for an F-15 IMO. Is it lacking the cheek/jaw separation? It looks to me like there is some separation there, but hard to tell from the pics.
Very nice 1914-D. It may technically only grade a F-15 or so, but I think it has better eye appeal than that. It is a very nice coin!
That really is nice. It has to be better than F15. What company Slabbed that??? Is it on its way to a TPG???
