Appears to be a minor crack but I wouldn't classify it as a "cud." I know the proper definition of a cud: "A cud is a die break that involves the rim and at least a little bit of the adjacent field or design." but it usually obscures part of the device, if I'm correct. @paddyman98 can better clarify a response.

I wouldn't consider it a retained cud either. There would be a die crack from one part of the rim to another part of the rim if it were a retained cud. Pretty cool die crack and interior die break though.

It kinda looks like a void in the pics, but it's actually a "blob". Lol

It's not a cud as it doesn't touch the rim. However it is an interior Die break so that's neat. A keeper for sure but don't plan to get rich on it.

I think the original title indicates the interior die break in the wheat stalk, and I do see where two die cracks run from that break to the rim. It seems to be in-line with that die break so I could see it forming a cud later on. There is the obvious die crack and the second one is below it, just less pronounced.

Grading is always up to the owner if they want to see their coin in a holder or if they think that it is justifiable for the expense. In any case I think a 2x2 flip is always an excellent option for coins, especially varieties like this coin, since you can write information on the back.
