I am not a fan of these. However the seller does call them fantasy pieces. So at least he isn't misrepresenting them... For whatever that is worth.

The title of his ad even states "replica".

I know it's painful to see this foreign junk floating around but the seller does list it as 'replic' at $7.00 and with a 97% feedback rating. If someone buys these thinking he/she is getting the find of a lifetime well, what can you say. Thanks for posting.

This is not a counterfeit; he is not trying to pass it off as an authentic coin.

It's been happening for years! I was calling them left and right around 5 years ago, it did absolutely nothing! :banghead: Incidentally you can't call ebay anymore, they're using Covid-19 as their excuse but they are so full of shizzle and everyone knows it! :D

The problem is not this seller. The problem occurs when the next seller tries to pass them off as authentic. EBay does no one a favor by allowing replica sales.

There's a lot of outfits hiding behind the 'Pandemic'. I think people are getting real fed up quickly. No Clorox wipes, no masks, no sanitizer, no TP, 2months to ship - no more BS!

IMO as long as they're marked copy or replica I don't see anything wrong with selling them. If they're not marked they should be removed from Ebay but I doubt Ebay even cares. I was thinking of buying a few to use as a teaching tool. I'd counterpunch them with an R or the word copy.

If it is not stamped "COPY" or "REPLICA," it's not legal to sell it. That's the Hobby Protection Act.
