Question about 72 nickel, dime, penny.

    I know this sounds dumb. But i have a 72 N,D,P in there origenal cellophane. The penny has a 's' mint mark but the nickel and dime dont, is that normal?

    You do not have the complete 1972 mint set. These are the leftover bits when someone cut one up for the larger denominations. Each 1972 Mint Set contained three Lincoln Cents (P, D, S), two Jefferson Nickels (P, D), two Roosevelt Dimes (P, D), two Washington Quarters (P, D), and two Kennedy Half Dollars (P, D). A small plastic disc was also included in each set marked “Bureau of the Mint” and “Uncirculated Mint Set”.
