Do the values of your notes become more or less depending on the grading service you use ?

Ever since PCGS went out of business, I
have always thought that my notes may
have lost a little value, not that the grading
isn’t any different it’s the fact that there
is no longer a registry or pop report to
support them, Legacy the old PCGS still
hasn’t got its act together, in bringing
this online, it’s very frustrating to say
the least and from what I have been told
when the registry and pop make it back
it will be a mixture between the two grading services with no way of identifying
each other...now that’s laughable !

but you still have PCGS bank note company
Or gold shield but have only seen a handful
of notes from them and legacy so not sure
how there going to go especially being so
New.

so I have decided to join PMG and have
already submitted 10 notes, and just got
the notification that they were being shipped back and already done
WOW !! only two weeks, if that was PCGS
It would be like 4 months

Already have my next group of 10 ready
to ship this week Including Disney Dollars,
Rec Coupons and some more “E” tickets
I will post them in the forum mid week
out of 10 notes (4) are top pops ! and
one of those will pay for everything,
purchase, shipping and grading !

So no more PCGS notes for me ! only
going to buy and certify with PMG also
will be resubmitting most of my current
inventory to them for re holdering as I
have had good luck in the past on cross
overs so not to worried about that.

I think it was comparable, however the service you got wasn't, PCGS took months
for there mid grade service where as PMG only takes two weeks ! thats awesome !

Recreation Coupons were for R.V services at the park, they issued them only two
years the 1971 ( Only for 3 months ) and the 1972A for 12, after that they were
discontinued, so on the rarer side for sure 65 plush examples can go for hundreds
if not thousands of dollars !

And you have never heard of an E-Ticket ? I will educate you...LOL, the E-Ticket
Was for rides like the matterhorn, space mountain, haunted mansion, etc all
thrilling rides of the day, so the term E-ticket is iconic with excitement !
I will try and post some pics if I can, but for sure in a couple days when my
submissions get here.


PCGS currency and PCGS bank note company ( Gold Shield ) are two different
entities, PCGS currency was ran by Jason Bradford, who now runs Legacy in
which I stated they plan to merge PCGS currency in to one registry

I really like the registry part of the grading services that's why I joined have
several with PCGS currency Series 641,661,681 and 692 all Vietnam issues
if you were wondering..LOL

 

Thats the Recreation Coupon, that one is raw and listed on eBay for $124 but I
did see a top pop 68 going for $1,699 so that tends to be the range.

My brother lived in Clearwater Beach, FL. We went to Disney World and Universal World(?) many times. I'm sure we bought a lot of those. I suspect he tossed them. I'll give him a call.

I just bought this one 5 minutes ago...LOL , this particular one is circa
1970,s but one of the ones I had graded was a 1959 example and it came
back 58PPQ !

 

The tickets are hot right now, they do have books A,B,C,D tickets and the E
ticket is the last one in the book but everybody is after the E !

 

I am struggling with my photo images from photo bucket, as they are appearing as
a red X in some cases and its very frustrating so if that happens here just click on
the image and it will take you there...LOL, going to try something a bit different this
time out and see if it fixes the problem.

 

I picked up a PMG65 on the final day of FUN from a nice guy at the convention.

Wasn't really something I wanted or needed, but he was really nice and I felt like I was rewarding the convention or the people behind it by buying something from a nice guy who chit-chatted with me a few times over the 4 days for probably 10-15 minutes each time.

Glad I bought it.

I would rather the photo just show up, on the screen, instead of the red x , this just
started recently, when I go back to edit the post the pic shows up then goes away
again still trying to trouble shoot the problem.
