A 1950's token for advertising motor oil. Not in the best of shape and somewhat common but a. neat piece. I especially like the reverse as it's divided into 4 equal parts. Each part is for a different motor oil based on the cars mileage. #3 is for up to 999 miles #4 is from 1,000 to 9,999 miles #5 is 10,000 to 30,000 miles and #4 is over 30,000. After adding this to my tokens I can remember my dad breaking the car in. You could only go so many miles and the oil needed to be changed and you go only go up to a certain speed. After the car had 10,000 miles you go go over 60 mph. Lol
I can remember the days of dealers telling you to keep it under 60 for the first 500 miles, but then along came 70-85 MPH speed limits and synthetic oil. Seems a far away thing these days at my age.
