I am brand new to this website, I was stumbling around the internet looking for help in determining what my coin is and I found you guys. Here are images of the obverse and reverse of the coin. If they're not good enough images, let me know. I'll try to improve them. The coin's information is virtually indiscernible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
The design and writing is that of a Judean bronze from the Bar Kochba Revolt (132-135 AD). I don't know if it is real, the reverse tree is lacking some detail that is usually present.
thank you guys for the replies. my next question is how do you know it's a fake? what would it be worth if it was not a fake? thanks again.
ha, i get where you're headed, but you'd be wrong. i didn't pay anything for this. i simply found it in my house when I was going through a giant thing of coins.
