This one showed up today from PCGS listed as a 600362 - (1776) Medal J-CM-15b Bronze 67mm U.S. Diplomatic Medal Restrike. Graded SP64.
I sold it 5 years ago. You did very well. It was my top seller, when I broke up a big part of my toner Morgan collection. Glad somebody deserving has it now.
The first qualifying 2020-W quarters of each release certified by PCGS will be attributed with the famous “PCGS First Discovery” pedigree. Additionally, any qualifying 2020-W quarters submitted within the first week after the PCGS First Discovery will receive a “First Week of Discovery” pedigree. After that 7-day period, any qualifying 2020-W quarters certified within 45 days after the PCGS First Discovery will receive an Early Find pedigree in our new Early Find label. PCGS awards cash prizes for some of these.
Latest acquisition and obviously a modern restrike by the Paris Mint. I purchased this one so that I can illustrate and appreciate what the original medal would have looked like when struck in silver.
Actually I won two '25-S Peace dollars over the weekend. This one was a straight win from seller Vette1986. I probably won it because it is not up to snuff with his usual stuff. This one was cheap.
