What do you think of this 89CC? Is it UNC as advertised?

Pretty risky with terrible photos. A seller with 52 sales? At least they accept returns.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Wow, that is a huge amount of money for a coin like that with such bad pictures!

I think whoever receives that is going to find an AU-58 coin that has been cleaned. Now, don't get me wrong, that's still an extremely valuable coin.... but I wouldn't risk it on those pictures!

And that's also assuming it's genuine, which I'm not willing to do based solely on those pictures. Wow.

I don’t think it is genuine. As you said, sure can’t tell from those awful photos. If it is, it is a harshly cleaned or whizzed AU details coin. I would vote for Shanghai genuine.

    I wouldn't touch it with a 50' pole, but that's me.

1889 CC 'Uncirculated' and not in a top two slab? Someone is taking a big chance.
Personally I wouldn't bid on it.

What does "Based in the United States" say to you?

The use of the word “authentic” in the listing gives me pause.

Well I think the money may be it trying to pull off a repunched date - Which there is not one known.
A few things just look off -
Second star to the left of the date -
The Date looks like an attempt at a repunched look
"D" in united is odd - One of the cotton bolls look real off
With reverse cracks its trying to pull off a V4 - CC does not quite look in the right position and the wing gap has a funny gouge
AND of course polished and cleaned
Lot of money to not be in a holder …

I don't know how many obverse and reverse dies were used for the 1889-CC Morgan.
I did an overlay for the lower portion of the reverse, mainly concentrating on the mint mark. The letters appear to line up, but the mint mark is in a slightly different position. This may be normal depending on how many dies were used.
    Anyway for what it's worth.

I couldn't get them perfectly lined up since the OP's coin had a slight tilt.

Overlay - the OP's CC is north of the CC on my coin

Looks like it's probably VAM 3. AU cleaned. Not a good buy.

The date does not appear to be in the far position for a 3 , at least by his wonderful pictures :)

    Perhaps VAM 4 then.

The over lay is cool. I looks like you are using the "DO" to line up on. Can you do that with this plate from vamworld VAM-4 to the Op's coin?

Looks like an overdipped AU to me.

Here are the three mintmark positions for 1889 CC:
