Are you nohope from omnicoin? I love your collection. Die break in a and r from america in first coin. And all along STATES in second coin. IDK on grades.
That 1864 has some amazing woodgrain texture, beautiful coin. Is there some repunching in the 5 and perhaps the 6 of the 1865?
Have you checked these for rotated dies I have one that is rotated 90 persent CW. I would check them if I were you. Jazzcoins Joe:whistle:
Rotated Dies on the 1864 are fairly common. I have several 180 degree rotations; and a whole bunch rotated between 10 and 40 degrees.
First one is Ms60 , the second one is AU 50 , Third Au58, and they are very nice coins Jazzcoins Joe:smile
Yup. Clembo like! The 64 looks at least MS63 to me. AU53-55 on the 65 and actually the 68 could merit an MS grade as well. Shield is weak but no real uncommon even on unc coins. I have a 69 with similar color to your 64. Nice!
