I’ll go. Bean or not on this Texas commemorative half. PCGS MS66.

I'll say no bean. Not that I'm biased by sending my last 20 work years at the University of Oklahoma and the commemorative is Texas!

Looks nice and original, but I'm thinking no bean at 66.

Looks original surfaces to me with some light toning and only a couple of small ticks on the obverse. I'd say yes to the bean.

I think it has plenty of luster to get a green bean!

It looks like I'm too late, but it definitely deserves a bean. It's a beauty.

Green CAC on coin and deserves it: 15
Green CAC on coin and doesn't deserve it: 10
Gold CAC on coin and deserves it: 1
Gold CAC on coin but should only be Green: 4
Gold CAC on coin but should not sticker:
Failed to sticker but deserves a sticker: 7
Failed to sticker and should not sticker: 1
Unknown sticker status and deserves a sticker:3
Unknown sticker status and does not deserve a sticker:2

Note: if we don’t know the status of a coin before the reveal and more people say green CAC for a gold CAC coin, then it will go in the area of “Gold CAC on coin but should only be Green” ....see round 3 as the example case

    *
Rd. 10 was 4-4...I interpreted that CircCam would consider it a no (based on a similar example), which swayed the overall vote to a lean towards no.
Rd. 13 was tied between green and gold at 4-4...I interpreted that geekpryde would consider it a gold

Green on the Barber half. I don't know much about these, but 63 feels right.

The toning is great - I'll say yes to the bean.

It is near impossible to grade proofs, especially older proofs from photographs, but given the grade is PR63, I am going to say it did get a green bean.

I agree with the others, for PR63 it is solid so green it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it was under graded and should be a PR64.
