1964-D Kennedy Halves: Doubled Die, Tripled, or Quadrupled?

There are 3 different varieties for these but I can't nail down these 3 coins for certain. Any help would be appreciated. @Paddy54

These are extremly hard to nail down the right variety.
There were so many minted....and the dies got worked and reworked.
Remember Kennedy was for the most part a well liked President.
After he was killed people wanted something to honor him.

So you find a doubling as close as possible ....or go nuts some pups are the real deal...getting into lines and file marks can change in a die stage.....and reworking.
Thus you got a huge pup tap dead center....and the other die lines and chips don't match. Again mintages were ......273,304,004 MS. 3,0950,762 proofs
Denver 156,205,446 how many die pairs you want to pair up...?
I wonder if there is a record of the number of dies used.

 

To me the first two look like doubled dies and the last one looks tripled.

 

It looks the same to me from this vantage point. The last photo shows the best at the "U".

Yeah check the designers initials that is usually a strong pup.
But the 3rd is a triple

I would rather vam a peace dollar....again how many strikes how many dies and lapping of those dies....you go nuts

 

Peace dollar varieties and Morgan Vams made me stop collecting varieties, as it just induced my migraines.

 

It's definitely something worth keeping.
