    I have to say I am most certainly enjoying the pics. Being a mostly raw collector I love the good worn Barber's and Mercuries.

    I've owned mint roll coins with scratches in field. Yeah. I'm not a grader. But you know that i know that you know. Were on the same page. MS. i feel good about my guess.

    Nice 42-over-1! Always a cool coin.

    Back in the early '80s, I bought one from an advertiser in Coin World - it was one of my first big purchases, too. Many years later, ANACS was at a local Coin Show and they deemed it counterfeit. I wrote Coin World and they actually located the dealer and he refunded me. I was pretty impressed, although I was bummed to lose my dime.
