My favorite coin of Nicomedia is this Macrinus AE30 which I bought from PeteB over twenty years ago. While it is only a Ares standing there, the reverse legend is like your galley honoring the second Neocorate of the city. RPC V is not yet online but should be massive and wonderful for those interested in this period (Pertinax to Macrinus).
