    Yeah, Athenian decadrachms don't turn up all that often.

    Try to get a refund if you spent money on these.

    Thanks for Bithynia info, Kentucky. A place I knew nothing about - another "planet".
    I have to admit, I'm a bit overwhelmed by it, and would need plenty of time to take it all in !

    That is a nice Leo VI, 886-912, Sear 1729, about which Sear writes, "This appears to have been issued in greater quantities than almost any other individual type in the Byzantine series."
