Nothing wrong with getting what you like and attracts you. I buy certain coins I like, owning multiples. I just like 'em. :)

Yep. There is really no format for my collection. "I BUY SHINEY CERTIFED, LOWER PRICED SILVER. Some uncertified silver also. I just pretty much buy what I like at a reasonable price for me. I have multiples also if they are cheap enough.

Why do you like them so much?

Not trolling - explain what you find attractive, desirable, and collectible about them? I'm always curious to hear why collectors are passionate about certain items. Tell us why these make you happy!

HOW IS THAT FOR MY REASONING FOR MY COLLECTION. LOL. JUST TRYING TO BE HONEST. I HAD TO THINK A BIT BEFORE I ANALYZED MY COIN COLLECTING METHOD. ENJOY YOUR COLLECTION FOLKS AND I APPRECIATE THE FINE FOLKS HERE ON THE FORUM.

Heck yeah, man. I asked an honest question, and you gave a sincere answer. I respect that, man. You and I collect very different things, but I really respect the enthusiasm you have. You are so excited every time you post one of your coins, and, man, I really like that even if I don't collect anything close to what you buy. You rock, man.

I like anything toned. Lincoln's, Morgan's, Lincoln's, and unique toned coins which always seem to cost me way too much. This is one of my top 3 favorites.

I wish everybody could whip out a 19-item list anytime someone asked them what about a particular thing made them happy.

I’d love to hear what you’re thankful for on Thanksgiving!

I am attracted to them too. I am from the generation of collectors where Proof silver coins that had ultra cameos like that were rare and very hard to find. Then I remember that virtually all of these coins are made this way and I come back to reality.

#1 goal for this hobby should be to buy what you like. I think at times people probably feel like the market or the hobby is steering them one way or the other. Buy what you like is surely going to be the most satisfying why to do it.

    nice buys.
