I found this in my father in law coin after he had passed. Has anyone seen one graded?

From my understanding they won't slab the bashlow restrike but I could be wrong.

    Anacs may

I sent it once to the new PCI that's Dominion grading service and they would not slab it.
but Anacs may. once I get 4 more coin's to send Anacs I will see if they will

restrike, uh not. it is clearly not a restrike, it is a copy. real 1861 bashlow restrikes have the correct date. this does not.

it's just counterfeit, not a restrike. no originals or restrikes have the 1862 date nor any other than 1861 all other dates are certain to be fakes.

Someone spent all their money on booze and woke up the next morning with the idea of making these and passing them off as originals, to make money to buy more booze with. The problem, they should have had one less drink the night before, so they could afford a cup of coffee before starting to make the die.

Technically, it might be called a fantasy coin. The "original" (with that date) never existed.

Not just that, but they are loaded with die cracks. The original dies were in bad shape when the restrikes were made...none of them were without the cracks.
