A "brick" of 50 x 2005 "bison" nickel rolls is now going for around $200 on ebay.

I finally got 10 rolls from the bank today. If I had known, I'd have tried for the whole box ;)

Ahh well, I'm happy with what I've got....now to go through them for errors ;)

Wow! Thats a lot for the new buffalo nickel rolls. I better check my local banks just to make sure they don't have any. Good luck with the error search!

Saw a coin dealer selling them for 25 cents each of course I had to pass on that one.Same day I went to a second hand store and got one in change.

My eyes hurt from looking at thousands of bison coins (I'm seeing buffalos in my sleep) from banks and from the mint. Found some minor errors and one nice one (look at a pix in error coins).

The 2005 Buffalo nickels from Philly have gone for over $300 per case as they are in shorter supply but slowly and surely Philly is catching up. Also you all need to understand that a GREAT number of areas in this country WILL NOT get new rolls of coins as the banks merely transfer coinage from branch to branch. It takes armored car service from the Federal Reserve to get those precious new coins. I am surrounded by numerous banks, here is southeastern Indiana, and will NOT see a fresh roll of buffalo nickels, so I like so many others must count on other collectors, dealers and Ebay to fulfill my desires. One just has to adapt and over come, so to speak so don't be to harsh on those folks who would rather spend the extra to guarantee that they, their family members, friends and co-workers all have the opportunity to own a roll or two. One has to do what one has to do!!!
