Cool story...but in all honesty...the story and concept are much cooler than the coin itself which, in the end, didnt look very attractive IMO...I probably wouldnt be inspired to buy the coin if I saw it for sale...thats just subjective taste though...

Now I for one like the piece. The design, that is. Can you pick it up from circulation? No. Contrary to the circulation pieces and €2 commemoratives, those collector coins are legal tender in the issuing member state only and hardly ever occur "in the wild". Basically a pseudo-coin, except that the base metal version can be had at face value ...
