    Does anyone know which king/caliph/prophet this coin belongs to and whether it is real or fake?

    Silver dirham . Umayyad coin . Stuck in Damascus. Maybe year 99 A.H.

    May I ask who is the king associated to this coin? I saw some saying Umar II was the king but not sure if that is correct?

    On a side note, how can I get rid of the soil on the coin?

    You can find the name of this Caliph following the date of issue which is engraved on the coin (first up). If the year is 99 A.H., then the Caliph is Umar Ben Abdel Aziz. But first make sure that I read correctly the date of issue.
    Use a soft tooth brush to get rid of the soil on the coin. Good Luck.
