Hi everyone, Its a great feeling when you get a great coin in an even better trade! I got this 89-cc Morgan in a trade for some various Canadian Silver I had laying around, I'd say a win win for both parties! I got this key date morgan (after much checking for authenticity), and the other guy who doesn't collect American coins got some nice Victorian Silver! I'm exited to keep it, or upgrade it to a better example! The coin itself is pretty nice too, with a small rim ding on 8oclock being the only issue. Besides that, I think its a nice circulated VF example. Post your best story of at trade, or coins you got in a trade!
My favorite trade is at my office and I don’t have a photo handy. Years ago I had a buddy that was an avid metal detectorist. His passion was old war uniform buttons. He found an old two cent coin one day and had no interest in it. I traded him a cigar for that two cent coin. That was my favorite trade.
It's on its way to PCGS right now, I thought it was worth the risk. I've done business with the guy before, if it isn't authentic I know I can get my stuff back no problem. But I posted this on the forum, and almost everyone said it was authentic.
