I was Finally Able to log on to my account today. I guess they shipped me 2 Silver Proof sets on 3/07?????????? I have not recieved anything, nor have I been billed. Anyone else have these sorts of problems with them? Justin
I would order more directly from the mint if I could ever get there catalog page to load. Really irks me somethimes
I sure don't know what changes were made but speed and ease of use weren't two of them!!! If anything it's even slower. It did let me log in too but that was it. I needed to edit my account but all that it would let me do was to change my username and password. All other edit features were dead in the water.
I think maybe "Shipped" Means "Backordered" to them. I don't know. I think the Same thing happened with the 05 Silver eagle proofs I ordered. It said shipped. Nothing came. Then two weeks later there was another order for them. I didn't want to get two orders of them so I cancelled it. I think that was because it was backordered. I guess. I don't know. Guess I will have to call.

I ordered some ASE's on 23 March 05 and then could never get back on the web site. I called today and the Customer Rep gave me my number and said they had been shipped on 25 March and I verified this by finally getting on the Web Site today. I should have received the order by now and my credit card hasn't been billed either. So I don't know what is up either.
I get them on subscription and recieved mine over a month ago... Their method of shipping is... well, odd to say the least. I was also a lucky one to recieve 12 rolls of the new nickels within a week of their coming out!
If anyone ordered or plans to order the "backordered" Bison first day covers from the mint, please watch the order process closely. When I attempted to order a couple sets everything went fine, slow but fine, until I got to the last page. Just before I hit the purchase button I noticed that instead of showing the covers on the invoice, it had replaced them with 2005 collectors spoons. I tried several times and had the same result each time from different computers at different locations. Anyone else had this problem? Watch closely if you order, you might get a package full of spoons! Also I noticed that the quick checkout feature still isn't working.
Intersting example of something getting screwed up coming from the mint. They shipped me four state quarter proof sets that I never ordered (and invoiced me). Never figured out why, but I sort of liked them, so kept the sets.
Received my Silver Eagle one week after ordering it. Strange thing was that I never did get confirmation of the order by e-mail, which I always did in the past. With my old, dated computer, I used to have trouble ordering from the mint on-line. With my new, really fast, computer, and high speed cable, I have never had any problems.
At least your got SOMETHING! Richard01. lol. I ordered a couple of Bison covers through the 800 number. Seemed like I was an anyoyance ordering so little. I asked if the Bison covers were B/O and he said "no only the nickels". I actually got an email confirmation, rather surprised by that lately. It said the covers are backordered, go figure. Nothing surprises me lately, getting a little tired of the mints web myself- can't get onto the cagalog.
