MY B&M store opening soon! Wish me luck

The vault is functional but needs the combo fixed. The buisness isn't just coins. This is mostly her buisness with my coins in the corner. I have 3 large glass cases and the vault to work from. She does home decor and very nice crafts. She will do very well. So the name doesn't have to do a whole lot with the coins but that is ok. I think that this will bring in a different crowd of folks that have had coins but never knew what to do with them.

Sounds good tdec. So do you think you'll expand the coin part of the business when you retire from the military?

 

That is the plan and that is if I retire from the Air Force. If all goes well my enlistment is up in 2011. If the store really takes off I would like to do this full time. I could then go to the air guard and work very heavily on exapanding the store.

 

I believe it is about 3 to 4 hours depending on where you are coming from. My good friend is going to be consigning one of the cases. He travels to Iowa quite often to do the shows up there and does pretty good. I'll have to ask him what shows he does up there.

Thanks Snaz!!!! I am getting really excited. My problem right now is freeing up enough cash without selling off all of my really good inventory. I have quite an extensive collection but trying to decide what stays and what must be sold to get us going is tough. I really refuse to get a loan, I would rather just do it all on my own.

 

Congrats on the store , you could even sell other collectables , either stamps , comics , or sports cards , just to bring more peeps into the shop , also a good web site is a must , you can reach so many more people , where exactly are you located , area of state incase we're ever in the area .
