Found this nice condition coin today..

    ..at a park about 6 inches down.

    is it a like public park? with swings and such? or is it like a park (big field) with just open field?

    Its not like he has a backhoe and a buldozer, pushing over trees and mowing down small children, I allways used a garden spade when I detected and allways put the grass back. you could never tell where i had dug. Its no worse than people letting there dogs tear up he grass at the park

    Nice find. Although I dig in banks, the ground may be my next step.

    Nice find! I am looking forward to purchasing a metal detector when I can afford a decent one again! It is a shame that all those valuable coins are just corroding away in the ground!

    Good find! I just got my new metal detector and can't wait to take it out once it gets nicer outside. Keep digging!

    Today while cleaning out the closet my wife found a presciption bottle of coins that she keep from her business because they were shiney or unusual. In the bottle were 6 proofs 2 nickles, i dime, 3 quarters,and 2 nickles with a multi-colered tone, 1 russian coin 1961 with a 10 on it,7 war nickles,3 mercs,3 sil.ross.dimes and 2 sil.quarters,1913,1917 lg. english pennys and 2 old wheats, all but the war nickles and the english pennys are ms. She made my day.

    Wow, nice find! I metal detect at parks all the time and the best coin I ever found was a 1954 quarter.

    See Spider is starting to see the possible conspiracy out there. At first I thought it was just towards me due to my radical and non-conforming posts but I can see now that it is against both of us due to our age.

    May I ask a question then - if it because of your age. If this conspiracy exist, then why does it only affect you and not others your age or younger ?
