complex just ins't the right word lol i have seen complex, some of these notes - in particular the Macadonia note - that goes way beyond complex! We really need a new word to describe that note... it really is superb craftmenship IMHO!
Only one here today LOL Serbia 2006 10 Dinara Sig, Radovan Jelašic (Governor) Yellow/Brown/Green Vuk Stefanovic Karadžic, creator of contemporary Serbian alphabet, his writing kit, book and spectacles Karadžic seated; Members of the First Slavic Congress held in Prague in 1848; vignette of the letters by Karadžic Security Thread Watermark: Portrait of old Karadžic p40a
very unusual to see a note from serbia with such a low denomination. With such a long period of inflation and/or hyper inflation ... well, larger denominations always seemed to be the norm for me lol
I still have a number of the inflation notes to scan when I get round to it LOL Here are a few more though for today Belarus 2000 1000 Rubles Blue/Yellow/Brown National Museum of Art Still-life painting Security Thread Watermark Still-life p28 Georgia 1993 1 Kupon Orange/Purple Tbilisi view Cave city of Vardzia Watermark p33 1994 250000 Kuponi Orange/Green Gryphons Grapes vines Watermark p50 Slovakia 2004 20 Korun Green/Brown Prince Pribina Fortified church in Nisa Security Thread Watermark Prince Pribina
I think the Georgian one is quite different to the usual run of early notes from a new country (as it was then)
it is 'quite different' !!! looking at the note, and the subject of the vingettes, i would love to see them in a color ... well ... ANY other color then that bright orange lol the vingettes would look so much better in more natural colors IMHO
