Late to this, but I'm surprised by the bean on the Isabella. That dipped white look is exactly what I would expect CAC to not bean.

The "oopsie!" reveal notwithstanding: Green CAC on coin - just doesn't deserve it.

Green CAC on coin and deserves it: 11
Green CAC on coin and doesn't deserve it: 9
Gold CAC on coin and deserves it: 1
Gold CAC on coin but should only be Green: 4
Gold CAC on coin but should not sticker:
Failed to sticker but deserves a sticker: 7
Failed to sticker and should not sticker: 1
Unknown sticker status and deserves a sticker:3
Unknown sticker status and does not deserve a sticker:2

Note: if we don’t know the status of a coin before the reveal and more people say green CAC for a gold CAC coin, then it will go in the area of “Gold CAC on coin but should only be Green” ....see round 3 as the example case

    *
Rd. 10 was 4-4...I interpreted that CircCam would consider it a no (based on a similar example), which swayed the overall vote to a lean towards no.
Rd. 13 was tied between green and gold at 4-4...I interpreted that geekpryde would consider it a gold

As far as I understood, he didn't send them in and just wanted to get our opinion (that is why I placed them in the "unknown CAC status" category).

There are plenty of marginal coins that are CACed. Some scratched ones to boot. Some coins are best sold to sticker sycophants at 30-40%+ premiums.

Your comment made me wonder about someone putting a fake bean on a legit slab. At least with the slab, you can go to NGC or PCGS and look up the certification number and verify the grade. Of course there are fake Chinese slabs out there with legit certification numbers but usually one can find some issue with the slab or coin

You can go to the CAC website and verify that the sticker is genuine by plugging in the cert number. It will tell you if the coin passed.

For obvious reasons, it will not tell if the coin was submitted and failed.

My deepest apologies...no I have not sent them in...I was one of the one's that wanted your guys opinion if they would get the green sticker. I think I will submit them based on the majority opinions posted here. Thank you all and as always enjoy what remains of your day.

I could see it going either way but will lean toward NO sticker

(I’m personally not a fan of the streak, especially on the obverse...not sure if that plays any role though)
