    I received a 2006 Canada Quarter in change today. I didn't know they made these in 2006. It has a pink ribbon (Breast Cancer). What does the "P" stand for?

    P denotes that the coin was plated, nickel over steel. Now the mint just uses it's logo as a mintmark.
