Is this a die crack on the right wing of the Eagle? Or is it maybe doubled? I can't tell. image.jpeg

That is a common place for die breaks to appear on Washington Quarters along with the base of Washington's neck.

Not sure if it's a die break but the 1983p is actually worth 1.50-3.00. Not much but still something to look out for

After I posted and read it again, it made no sense, so I deleted it. No, don't ask what it was.

image.jpg I have an 88 that has a double in the form of an x. I know the sac dollar P is with some big money and I think this is way cooler. Can’t find any info anyone heard or seen this before

Some folks are prone to damage things...like coins...perhaps out of boredom. Unfortunately, it just ruins a coins potential. That one, Ryan, is spendable.

I’m not so sure the crack starts from a cud at 1 pm and it robs fill with of coin but never extends anywhere past the rim. There are actually a lot of them see next pics. No way some man did that without uses of Cnc or lazer. The precision is perfect with no +\- E61D65A2-5DE5-46FB-9EC4-6B2BD365C691.png D79A9161-1926-439C-AC48-6A47FD13D5CC.jpeg EAFE07F0-5172-454D-8DBF-C99ABA8E40B2.png

It looks like someone took a knife to the reverse to make the X. A cud would appear as a blob (no design details). Go to cudsoncoin.com. Lots of examples there of all denominations. You can look up any year to see if there are established, attributed cuds. This, however, won't be there. Have a good night!

Die cracks are raised. The marks are your coin are recessed. It's easy to see the displaced metal caused when the coin was scratched/gouged. PMD as others have said, not a mint error

Did someone cut the coin or is it an error on the N letter at the top?

Someone cut the coin. Spend it so someone else can find it and learn something from it.

Hi Sheila, glad you're still around. I think it's a die crack. That is a common place for them.
