I added that Cent to my cart. Just to make the seller think I am interested! :hilarious:

It's totally a genuine mint error. It fell on the floor, picked up by the robotic floor sweeper, dumped into the remelt bin, fell out of the bin where it was dragged by the fork lift to the loading dock where it was picked up in the treads of a semi and then crossed the country before it was discovered by the seller. Wattafind.

I love that he classifies it as a "total mint error." Not a DD, RPM, strike through, off center, etc., it's just TOTAL.

The most trusted name in numismatics.

Inventory in both India and Iraq, with free shipping to the United States? This guy is an international numismatic sensation! Just needs to bone up a tad on his US history, but he'll get there.

The 1973 cent looks a lot like coins I've been finding on my walks. You can make as many as you want. Here are the instructions: Take a worthless Lincoln cent, place it carefully on your driveway behind one of your tires, then drive over it about a thousand times. Actually, you can make four of them at the same time, as your car has four tires. If you really want to up the ante, try a nickel. Or four nickels. That would be your million-dollar entry on Etsy. If any of you actually do this, it's my idea so you have to split your take with me. I'll give half of it to charity.
