Your aversion to yellow reminds me of a woman who used to work for me. The mere sight of yellow cheese would make her visibly nauseous. Apparently related to some unpleasant cheese experience she had as a child. Type of cheese didn't matter, just color: yellow American, yellow cheddar, yellow gouda . . . all made her sick.

I like the idea of the original poster and it's a solid list.
Like @Paul M. said, it would make a fun and affordable box of 20. And yes one would struggle to convince many that all ten of these "belong" in a set but quite a few people would include at least a few of these in their collection.

Some of us just don't have a fascination for gold. I've never understood the alure of it myself.
