Now that you looked I didn't say it was a Mint error. I don't normally do this but I've seen so many of this type before I couldn't resist. I was handed this in change a few days ago. I looked at it and I'm sure the clerk knew something was wrong by the expression on my face. Lol These are the best photos I could get but do there is no mistake, this is a LOUISIANA Quarter. I'm willing to laugh and listen to any ideas as to how this error, err I mean damage occurred. Just laugh with me.
I hear that but I have to know what caused this error. Did it get stuck in one of the coining machines?
Can some one tell me hoe to get permission to post? I have a 1821 Morgan sliver dollar where the tail feather lines do Not extend down yo the end of the feathers, in fact instead of there being 7 lines there are only 3. Thank you.
I been thing of the worst way to destroy a coin in the most unlikely way..... In a pocket of someone at a carnival ride and while upside down the coin fell out and land in the Mechical works and had the results that you have... lol
The last time I went to a carnival. I thought I could half the ride but I guess my age caught up with me really fast while being fringed upside down. I’m good a the “ though a ball into a fish bowl and win the fish” Lol.
