does anyone know the value of this coin? I have 3 of the smaller ones i was told they were rare and want to know what they are worth? the pic is not of my coin.
The 1932 coins are KM# 875. They are worth $0.40 in VF, $0.90 in XF and $2.50 in UNC. They were minted from 1920 to 1938 and are not rare. However the picture of the coin you posted is worth a bit more than the ones you possess. These are KM# 865 and minted from 1914 to 1920.
I do have 1 of the coin i have pictured above but it is a 1920 and the condition is like the picture what is it worth?
1920 is the common date of issue of both the types. If the size of your 1920 coin is same as the 1932, they are the same type. The KM# 865s were about a millimeter or two bigger in diameter than the KM# 875s. Hope this helps:smile
I have a set of these, I think they are very well done, but common so not worth a lot...which is good because then we all can have one
If i were to sell all of these coins what would be a good price for the whole lot? and is anyone interested? They all have different dates and some are tarnished more than others and i see no dents or bad spots on any of them.my cam sucks so sorry for the bad pic.
I don't think you should sell them ,i think you should give them to Konabear since he did ask for one. Jazzcoins Joe :whistle:
I'll give him one,But knowing my luck it would probly be worth the most money the one that i do give away
If you are looking to sell them, I would look at Krause and get a per coin value (maybe a few of these are more rare and worth more) then throw them up on ebay...no one will want them from that picture though...cant see a thing. I would think. I dont even remember where I got mine, in some lot I bought.
IMO you'll make more money selling them individually than as a lot but you never know with Ebay auctions.
I own the 25 centimes(1920) piece. It got a little harmless ding:hammer: but I couldn't resist picking it up for a dime. The details are XF.
Priceless, did you check each coin separately? The reason I'm asking is because there is a 5 and 10 centimes form French Equatorial Africa that look similar to the French centimes. The coin will read Afrique Equatoriale Francaise on the obverse and are dated 1943. The French African centimes are worth allot more then the French centimes. Lou
