This is what coins looks like after they have seen a few years of circulation. The metal coins are made of is really soft and the coins gets all scratched and banged up from being used. A real mint error coin is scarce and every old banged up coin is not a error. If you are interested in looking for a error I suggest you first buy a error coin book or look at a lot of error coin websites before even trying to look for a error. I know how hard it is when just trying to start out and it takes a heck of a long time to learn about error coins.I have been collecting coins for nearly 50 years and I still am learning new things .
I agree and appreciate all the comments. Since you are expert I will ask you about my Other quarter 1985 if you don’t mind big scar on the leg. And how much the value.
They already said that is not but still wanna show you if you can tell I like to hear from your side also.
Thank you. I have another quarter that it looks so weird to me I take both normal and negative same look like this. Is this error?
All the coins you posted are spenders, Are you asking if damage is a DDO or DDR? If so you really should read up and get an understanding of the minting process. Learning the basics of how dies are made will certainly help. http://doubleddie.com/58201.html Use the left legend on the page for more useful information.
