    Hey everyone! :D

I have most of my nice high graded coins in Artie holders. It came to my attention that the holders could possibly be wearing some of the high points off, so the grade & value goes down. Could/does this happen? Should I take them out before they get worn down?

    Thanks! :D

As far as I know as long as the coin does not move around in the holder you should be okay.

I've had no problems whatsoever with Airtites. I use them for everything. Every now and then a coin doesn't fit exactly right, but I've never seen a coin that wouldn't fit into one of their sizes. Err on the side of too tight in such cases and you'll be fine.

Plus, I like the black rings - it makes the coins stick out, which makes people go "ooh!" And isn't that the meaning of life: making people go "oooh!"?

the airtites only wear away if the coin is able to move and rub

Ryan - you have to use the correct size holder for each coin. Then there will be no movement.

Never thought of that , guess any coin would rattle with the wrong size insert .

Depends on if you use the direct fit model or the ring model. Either way, you still need the right size.

Forgot about that - I use the ring type because large cents are not all the same size for the type.
