Unfortunately, there is nothing here worth that much. I do not see anything of note on the 1961 cent. Perhaps some doubling of the mintmark, but it is hard to tell. The 1966 does have some pretty chunky lettering that sometimes can be consistent with a doubled die, but I’m almost positive that is not the case with this coin. As far as value is concerned, I just see two cents here. I’m tagging an expert, @paddyman98 He will be able to confirm or deny this whenever he comes across this thread.
Do those videos tell you how to determine if your coin is an ultra high grade? Or are they just put out by some hack trying to get clicks? Avoid the videos that sensationalize high value coins. These high grade coins are valuable because they are extremely rare. You're not going to find them in your change. The miniscule contact marks that a coin like is up in a roll or pocket are enough to keep it from being an ultra high grade. (Funny how those videos never tell you that) Sorry, I'm not trying to be rude to a new collector. Just want to let you know that many videos can be deceiving. Your coins are in nice condition and would be great to put in an album. However, they aren t even close to being worth more than face value. If you are searching for coins to get rich, that isn't going to happen. But if you want to start a lifelong hobby where you can learn hold pieces of history, you're in the right place Best of luck
Not sure what you mean by grade condition. Yours are definitely nicer than average, but a couple of cents is more like it. Why don't you put them in holders and start a collection.
@Big sg. Welcome to Coin Talk. One of the worst places to get good info on coins is YouTube videos. Most of them are click bait videos telling you how to get rich from pocket change. The only one getting rich is the person who posted it. Don't want to badmouth them all as a few are very informative.
...all of the above. The IGWT is wear on the ‘66...and even though the ‘61 is great with eye appeal, there are still millions available in that condition...common. It would need to grade 68 or 69 to get a 4-6K price tag...slabbed...Spark
