    It was actually the berry.
    I did no need to consult my 'Breen' book on this one:).

    Actually, the most difficult thing was waiting 45 days for the coin to arrive due to the lockdown, and hoping it would not get lost somewhere. Fortunately, it arrived safely.

    Yes, at least in part. That is one of the reasons why I was so excited to find this coin. It is not everyday one comes across an unattributed 1794 R5+ in this condition.

    The census of S-45's is led by two really exceptional examples in MS and AU respectively, but then it drops rapidly into the VF range, and ends in the Vg range. It will be fun to research other examples and compare a little.
