At a 2-15 stand, I will not be sending in this coin for grading.

    1) Obverse is harshly polished. I did not notice this until I took a photo with more lighting. This would have it graded F-VF details.

    2) The rim damage I knew about, however, I didn't think it would play a big part in grading. I went on to the pcgs website and looked at a couple coins that had been given a genuine not gradeable for rim damage, and found that the rims of those coins were far more minor than that of this coin.

I will not be sending this coin,

Thanks for all of your advice,

    AdrienH.

When the thread shows pictures with a big red X on them. Duh. Really. What does that mean.

It can mean a lot of things: broken link, erroneous embedding formatting, improper file format, etc.

In layman's terms, a no-no happened during the file uploading process.

It's odd that they don't let you edit your own mistakes. You have to do a whole new post to fix one letter!
