The reverse appears to be two people sharing drinks over an altar. Can't say I've seen this one. The obverse has a really goofy looking head, with a heavily sloped forehead and a hooked nose. Appears to be wearing a crested helmet.
Looks pretty close. I have to say that this is probably the ugliest portrait of Constantine I've ever seen.
Barbarous version of this perhaps .. with a right facing portrait? Struck A.D. 319 19mm IMP CONSTAN-TINVS AVG -- high crested helmet, cuir., spear across r. shoulder, shield on left arm VICT• LAETAE PRINC PERP -- two Victories stg., facing one another, together holding shield inscribed VOT PR on altar inscribed with I In ex. •ASIS• **but I would love if it actually was two guys having a pint**
Barbarous two victories reverse, I think. They can be pretty crude in their artistry. Here's one in my collection.
Thanks! I guess this might be barbarous. I don't really see a hint of a shield, just a couple "pints"
Very nice barbarous Victories! Here are some Victories, just as barbarous, doing different things. The left Victory rides a hobby horse, while the right one is singing loudly. Two Victories playing ping-pong.
