See the profile and it cuts thru the C
It matches on the obv. In like 3 places but has a different repunched 1 . And my 1 looks just like yours on your specimen.

I think your coin is S29 or RPD-026(19/19). I can't verify the PUPs from your obverse pic. RPD-001 is a proof coin. The RPD on the proof does look like your RPD.

I believe this is a Snow-14 in the early die state. Is there a die chip under the jaw line started? Its not clear from the obv. pic. There are three distinct phases of this obverse #1: No chip, #2: a small coma shaped chip and #3: a triangular cud

This is a hard coin to image and read the images...that's one reason I plan to send it to David.

Paid a little more than I would've wanted but I figured slabbed versions don't come around very often. If anyone can tell me about the "Cosmique Collection" I'd be appreciative.

For some reason I got off on a medals kick during my stay at home time and got fascinated with the Washington Before Boston Medal. That led me down a rabbit hole working to understand the series, which isn't easy in my opinion.

The mint struck a series of medals back during the bicentennial called 'Americas First Medals'. They were replicated on silver medals (Struck at the Paris mint I believe) that were awarded for most notable accomplishments by officers general and field grade during the American Revolution.

His coin's reverse doesn't match S-14. The shield should be touching the dentils.

I was surprised to receive mail from the UK today... completely forgot that I bought this book. Not a coin, but I am still excited:
