My dad gave me a number of the subject coins. I note they are something like .72 oz silver. it appears with the price of silver these are worth more sold as silver (not red book or other pricing). Is it possible to separate the silver and/or melt these into some kind of block and market them as such?

Another issue is that some are type I, type II, or type III (meaning, apparently that one (or more) of the olympic rings are dropped.

    Appreciate any help!:D

Don't melt them down... if you're serious about selling, PM me with how many you have, and I'll make you an offer.

You'll probably do others a favor if you sell them as melt value instead of trying to melt them yourself or sending them to the refinery.

Logger, the coin that you have is a type 1. The 3 top rings are aligned. Type 2 has the center ring lower. Type 3 has the center ring low and the snake has a long cured tongue.
