Ya, but i know where you got yours, and he's very well priced. they were going for 9 - 13$ each, depending on if you can see the date or not. i'm aiming for under 5$

Is it more desirable to see the date?

It is. The more of the date you can see, the more it is worth. two of my (with the dates) would go for about $8, and the other for $5. While mralexanderb's 1990 would go for $20+ (love that coin by the way mralexanderb).

So, I imagine that the more off-centered is more desirable as well. So, a coin that is 75% off rather than 50% off-centered is better. But, then dates are also important. Put those together...the farther off-centered they are the harder it is to have a full date and therefore the more desirable. Do I have that right?

It's kinda like that. Dates are most important...along with trying to get it as off-centered as possible. 20% to 60% is the norm for moderns. Coins that are struck slightly off centered are just called "broadstrikes".
