I always liked Feuchtwanger's, Greenie. Used to have one in the "old days" but had to sell it years ago when the wife wanted to update her shoe collection.:D

Gotta be careful how you pronounce the word too.

Okay, here's my contribution. Didn't start out as an eagle coin but was turned into one. This is an 1818 Large Cent counterstamped by early Philadelphia coppersmith Phillip Apple.

Here’s my new Karl Goetz World War I satirical medal. The rooster is, indeed, passing a hollow head bullet on the Geneva Convention. Goetz is accusing the French of using the ammo in violation of treaties. The medal is called Sower of Revenge.

I have another multi-counterstamped Large Cent with all kinds of farm animals stamped on it...pig, eagles, rooster, fox, etc. Unfortunately, it also has a few very crude references that I can't crop out so I won't show it. Doug's watching you know.

Instead, here's another eagle. Johnson & Conaway were Philadelphia saw makers c. 1850's. This is likely the stamp they applied to their saws.
