1927 Standing Liberty~What would you do?

I like to buy a coin like this occasionally for educational purposes and opinions.

Nothing wrong with this coin. Borderline F12 detail. Obverse looks "dusty" from the scans but actually just dark. Heavy album toning.

I could dip it (I WON'T) as it is what it is. How about you folks - what would you do?

No biggie I got it cheap.

Heck, why not? Live a little. I kind of like the reverse.

 

If the price is right, and you like the coin, I say go for it! (It's better than watching the stock market fall)

 

I wouldn't dip it, and not for the usual reasons. I think this coin has an unusual beauty with the toning.

As far as what I would do is based on the cost. If excessive, I'd pass on that one. If you do buy it, try cleaning with battery acid. :rolling:

 

Coins got character Ben....been many places, seen many things, touched many hands. I like it.

 

I'd leave it cleaning any circulated coin makes it look lifeless , now the coin has some class , leave it .
